Body found in bushland near Bendigo

A CYCLIST has discovered the body of a man while riding near Bendigo.

Police say the cyclist reported the grim finding to them while riding at Strathfieldsaye, northwest of Melbourne, at around 4pm (AEDT) on Saturday.

A crime scene has been established at the site.

Police said it was too early to determine a cause of death.
